A reliable supply of clean lubricant is vital for optimal bearing service. If bearings are not sufficiently lubricated, the result can be premature failure. The Shell Tactic EMV lubrication solutions include cartridge sizes of 120, 250 and 500 cm3 and has time setting options in weeks and months, providing lubrication rate options to help maintain a broad range of critical equipment.

Main Applications

• A range of installation kits are available which facilitate quality remote installation of Shell Tactic EMV lubricators. The most common installation kits utilise stainless steel beam clamps and cage hangers to attach to beam sections and square mesh safety cage. Other, less common configurations are available upon request.

Specifications & Approvals

Cartridge sizes 120, 250 and 500 cm3. Time settings weeks – 1 to 26 weeks for all cartridge sizes. Time setting months – 1 to 12 months for 120 and 250 cm3. 1 to 6 months for 500 cm3. Operating temperature range - 10 to 60°C ambient temperature at lubricator location. Remote mounting from application can be used to reduce ambient temperature. The dispensing rate is not affected by temperature. Ingress protection rating of IP65 without extended protection cover or IP67 when extended protection cover is used. Power supply via 4.5V alkaline battery set.
